Signals and NexusScript

Signals with a verified record — or write your own.

Built-in signals run on the live candle stream and are backtested net of costs in every market. Only signals with positive out-of-sample expectancy can create ideas. Build your own by hand, in NexusScript, or by asking Nexus.

What you get

Signals and NexusScript, in detail.

154 signals installed

Trend, momentum, volatility, mean reversion, breakouts, TD Sequential, candlesticks, volume, multi-timeframe and index signals — see the signal library.

Backtested net of costs

Per market, out of sample. Losing signals switch to information-only automatically.

Tamper-proof records

Each signal is hashed into the audit chain before its outcome is known, so a record can't be edited or cherry-picked.

No code execution

Specs are declarative JSON — user code is never run on our servers.
Evidence first

Every kind is backtested before it can act.

Win rate, expectancy, drawdown and trade count, net of fees and slippage in that market. A signal drives Autopilot only after a passed backtest and two weeks of paper trading.

NexusScript

A small, safe language for your own rules.

Write conditions with autocomplete and inline errors; it compiles to the same signal spec, shows the rule in plain English, marks recent history and runs an instant backtest. Saved only after you confirm.

In plain English

On 15-minute candles, go long when the TTM Squeeze fires, ADX(14) is above 20 and the close is above the 50 EMA. Stop 1.5× ATR below entry; target twice the risk.

Can a signal place trades?

A signal can create an idea. Copilot waits for your approval; Autopilot acts only for signals that passed their backtest and paper period, inside your policy.

Is NexusScript like Pine Script?

It covers the same ground for rules and alerts, but it compiles to a declarative spec — nothing you write is ever executed as code.
