Discipline built in
Knowing when to stop is a feature.
Most losses come from carrying on when the evidence has changed. AlgoNexus watches for that on three levels — the strategy, each idea, and your own behaviour — and acts in ways you can see and audit.
Three guards
Strategy, idea, behaviour.
Strategy health & drawdown guard
Every Autopilot strategy and every signal gets a live 0–100 health score from live vs backtest expectancy, slippage and drawdown. At the drawdown limit, or when it drifts, Autopilot pauses, tells you why, writes it to the audit log and feeds the learning loop.
What would make me wrong
Each idea states its own invalidation condition. While the position is open we watch it: in Copilot you get an alert; in Autopilot the position exits — through the risk gate, like every order.
Behaviour coach
Spots overtrading, losing streaks, revenge trades and ignored stops in your own trading, and pauses new buys for the cool-down you chose while calm. Selling is never blocked.
How the score works
Transparent by design.
- Drawdown
- Up to 60 points off as the account nears your plan's limit
- Expectancy drift
- Up to 25 points off when live results trail the backtest
- Slippage
- Up to 15 points off when fills land far from the planned price
- Pause
- At the drawdown limit, or below 40 with enough trades
- Signals
- A paused signal stops creating ideas until it recovers
Pre-commitment
Rules you set before the market opens.
- Overtrading
- Max own orders in 24 hours
- Losing streak
- N losing trades in a row
- Revenge trade
- Buying the same symbol again soon after a loss
- Ignored stop
- A trade closed well past its planned stop
- During a cool-down
- Rules can be made stricter, never looser
Scores and alerts are estimates from limited data and can be wrong. Pausing never sells anything on its own.
